Best friends, turned business partners.
Mallorie and Alexa started working together in 2014 at a Top 200 salon in Denver. They both quickly grew at a rapid pace as successful stylists and became inseparable- both inside and outside the salon. They each built a client base that meshed with the other’s- creating a community between them, and their clients became a culture of its own.
It was a dream of theirs from the beginning to start a business and continue to grow in their careers together, and they could not be happier to have brought that dream to fruition. When visiting Studio One 7, expect professionalism with a healthy dose of laughter and authenticity. Alexa and Mallorie are both extremely passionate about hair, but even more so, they’re passionate about making sure their clients have a phenomenal experience.
Meet Mallorie.
Mallorie’s passion for hair began as a little girl braiding and cutting her Barbie’s hair. After studying business in college, Mallorie decided to follow her passion and pursue a career in hair design in 2011. Her dedication and hard work over the years have molded her into a master in precision cutting, ombre/balayage hair color, dimensional hair color, and hair extensions. She also specializes in bridal hairstyles and updos- her work has even been featured in Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine. She prides herself on continuing her education in order to keep up with the constantly changing trends in the beauty industry. Mallorie always takes the time to listen to her guests’ needs and asks the right questions. What she loves most about her career is making her guests feel great about themselves.
Meet Alexa.
Alexa is a master stylist who has been working behind the chair since after finishing her hair education at the Toni and Guy hair school in 2007. Throughout her career, she has honed her craft at two of the top 200 salons in the country! Alexa spent the last 12 years becoming the top producing Aveda hair artist and educator while specializing in extension transformations, balayage and ombré hair color, and lived in looks and cuts! Her favorite part of being a master stylist is the connection she creates with her clients, boosting their confidence, and bringing out their inner beauty so they can shine and feel beautiful inside and out. When she’s not doing hair, you can find her hanging with her dog Murphy or trying out new recipes- she’s also a master in the kitchen!
